Supermodel Jaqueline Akoko and I are soulmates. As I spend my winters in Miami, USA, we travel around Florida looking for special locations to shoot. It’s like we’re living parallel lives together. This specific “Florida project” is from the west coast of Florida. We were searching for wild beaches to camp on but found the Caribbean coast abandoned and damaged after a major hurricane. This is where my imagination runs wild – some of the world’s most expensive beaches, now deserted, looked like post- apocalyptic scenes. My thing is finding these unusual locations and turning them into my kind of theatre scene. This time, the actor was Jaqueline. She became more than a perfect fit for this undirected play. The result is a mix of love, hope, destruction, and resignation, all in a metamodernistic way.
