For the first time in our region, the magnificent "Defender Experience Offroad Tour 2023" roared to life on October 14-15, 2023. The extraordinary event was brought to you by the Autolux Azerbaijan, in collaboration with Automobile Federation of Azerbaijan and NARGIS Magazine.
Over the weekend, a blend of Defender fans, including vehicle owners, their families and friends, as well as media representatives, embarked on a remarkable journey. A total of 24 Defender models, such as Defender 90, Defender 110, and Defender 130, and rare editions of this iconic brand, overcame a special route Baku - Shamakhi - Ismayilli with a total length of 150 km, which included highways, dirt roads and off-road. This opportunity allowed the drivers to reveal the maximum potential of the cars and test their capabilities and advantages in various conditions. The grand journey began with a launch at the Heydar Aliyev Centre, where a convoy of vehicles, accompanied by the Traffic Police, embarked on their thrilling adventure.
One of the main goals was a charitable initiative. In the company of delegates from the Autolux Azerbaijan Company, Automobile Federation of Azerbaijan and the NARGIS Magazine team, rally participants handed over bicycles and various gifts to children of the Shekhids of Shamakhi district. This touching action took place on the territory of Abqora Restaurant & Wine Club, where the participants had an opportunity to get acquainted with each other and prepare for the most challenging part of the run.
The event's grand finale took place at a gala dinner at the Basqal Resort & Spa Hotel. Officials delivered speeches, rally results were announced, and participants received memorable certificates. The evening, with its lively entertainment program and after-party, offered a fantastic opportunity for car owners to connect with each other and with official representatives of the Defender brand.
This unique event served as a spotlight on the unparalleled off-road capabilities of the legendary brand's vehicles and demonstrated the growing interest in Defender in the market while providing valuable support to existing customers.
