The Swiss manufacture Ulysse Nardin and Azerbaijani entrepreneur, traveler, and expeditionary author Farid Novruzi are embarking on a new chapter of their collaboration. Throughout 2026, the innovative Ulysse Nardin Freak One OPS timepiece will serve as his steadfast companion during his expeditions, travels, and public projects.
Farid Novruzi is someone who has turned the pursuit of discovering the world into a way of life. Having traversed six continents and crossed the equator twice, he adheres to a strict principle of flight-free travel, opting to navigate by car, sailboat, bicycle, and on foot. Among his most striking expeditions is the crossing of the Drake Passage through a storm en route from Argentina to Antarctica. Many of his projects combine a sporting challenge with environmental and social initiatives.
