Celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Bulgari Serpenti collection marks a significant milestone. Renowned for its snake-inspired designs, this iconic collection has enchanted jewellery lovers for decades and has gone down in history as a symbol of endless metamorphosis. To honour this special occasion, a gala event organised in partnership with NARGIS Publishing House was held at Gulustan Palace on December 17th.
The event, held in a prestigious venue, brought together esteemed guests, fashion enthusiasts, and industry insiders to commemorate this remarkable milestone. From the exquisite decor to the delectable cuisine, the evening was a testament to Bulgari’s commitment to timeless beauty and innovation.
Dressed in their finest attire, attendees walked the orange carpet, showcasing their personal style and paying homage to the elegance of Bulgari Maison.
The venue chosen for the gala dinner perfectly reflected the opulence and allure of the Serpenti collection. With its luxurious ambiance, guests were transported into a world of sophistication and glamour. The Bulgari brand wall was adorned with elegant floral arrangements, incorporating the iconic serpent motif.
At the heart of the gala dinner was the Serpenti collection itself. Displayed prominently at the special corner, the iconic pieces captivated guests with their intricate designs and impeccable craftsmanship.
To enhance the celebratory atmosphere, Bulgari curated a lineup of captivating performances that mesmerised the guests. Acclaimed musicians and dancers graced the stage, drawing inspiration from the fluid and sensual aesthetics of the Serpenti and its endless metamorphosis through time. The entertainment served as a reminder of the collection’s enduring influence on art, fashion, and culture. The event was also attended by Ulviyya Mahmud, Friend of the Brand and Editor-in-Chief of NARGIS magazine.
The gala dinner, marking the 75th anniversary of the Serpenti collection, highlighted Bulgari’s unwavering commitment to excellence and its ability to create timeless pieces that transcend trends. Guests were welcomed with drinks while enjoying the film "Inside the Dream." The ambiance was complemented by a quartet band in the lobby, offering mesmerising melodies for captivating photo and video sessions. Hosted by Jeyhun Ali, the event featured speeches by Jalal Gasimov, Mehriban Akhundova, and Oleg Kaydalov. The performances included Isfar Sarabsky's jazz fusion, Azerbaijani opera singer Samir Jafarov, and the celebrated jazz vocalist Gena West, who has had a long-standing collaboration with Bulgari. The surprises continued throughout the evening as a lottery was played at the event, granting four lucky attendees with coveted gifts from the brand. The night concluded with vibrant music spun by the DJ and enthusiastic feedback from the audience.
Concluding the anniversary year, the event in Baku was its crowning moment. An eye-catching 3D mapping of Serpenti on the Maiden Tower, consisting of two snakes representing the collection, grabbed everyone's attention. The concept was suggested by the NARGIS Magazine team, led by Ulviyya Mahmud. It was an unprecedented sight – global jewellery motifs adorning Baku's iconic architectural symbol, a recognised UNESCO World Heritage Site.
