Welcome to Ibiza! Welcome Rolls-Royce!
The prestigious automobile manufacturer has once again amazed the world with its latest Cullinan Series model. We had the pleasure of test driving and exploring this exquisite vehicle on one of the beautiful Balearic Islands. Follow along as we take you through the latest edition!
Both the Cullinan Series II and its bold counterpart, the Black Badge Cullinan Series II, represent significant evolutions in the realm of ultra-luxury SUVs. These models integrate cutting-edge technologies, refined design updates, and innovative personalisation options through the Bespoke programme, mirroring the brand's response to evolving luxury standards and customer needs. Let's start with the beautiful Cullinan Series II. While the company has preserved the rugged off-road capabilities and the unparalleled comfort of the signature Rolls-Royce “magic carpet ride” from the original 2018 model, the new version has undergone an extensive redesign to meet evolving luxury standards and diverse customer preferences.
Driving the Cullinan Series II around Ibiza was an extraordinary experience. The vehicle effortlessly navigated the island's diverse landscapes, from smooth coastal roads to challenging rugged terrain. Inside, the redesign features such as the SPIRIT operating system and advanced connectivity seamlessly integrated technology and comfort, complementing the mesmerising landscape. The Bespoke Audio system provided a rich soundtrack, while luxurious materials like Grey Stained Ash and bamboo-derived Duality Twill fabric added to the opulent ambiance. The Cullinan Series II truly embodies Rolls-Royce's commitment to combining durability with elegance, making every journey feel effortlessly refined.
A true Rolls-Royce enthusiast can recognise the brand’s unique interior blindfolded, thanks to its unparalleled materials and design. The updated interior palette features Grey Stained Ash and a new bamboo-derived fabric called Duality Twill, embellished with intricate embroidery inspired by nautical themes. Additionally, the vehicle features perforated leather with cloud-inspired patterns, showcasing Rolls-Royce's dedication to advanced materials and craftsmanship.
People often say that once you sit in a Rolls-Royce, there’s no turning back. After driving the Cullinan Series II, I can confirm it's no joke. Despite the car’s substantial size, it felt light, comfortable, easy to control, and simply stunning inside and out.
Catering to younger car enthusiasts, Rolls-Royce has introduced a more assertive expression of luxury with the Black Badge Cullinan Series II, which presents a darker, more primal aesthetic. The front features a prominent black grille and a silver "horizon line" that enhances the vehicle's width and solidity. Clients can opt for a fully blacked-out exterior, which includes black chrome detailing on the Spirit of Ecstasy figurine, window trims, door handles, and exhaust tips.
The 23-inch wheels, a first for Black Badge models, boast a design that intertwines ten spokes to create a visual effect of five, accentuating the red brake callipers that can also be customised in black, turquoise, orange, or yellow.
What can I say? The Black Badge Cullinan Series II is for those who are ready to be noticed by everyone passing by, whether driving or walking by. The bold colours of both the exterior and interior are a powerful attraction and a striking means of self-expression. After all, your car’s design can say a lot about you.
The Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II and Black Badge Cullinan Series II embody the pinnacle of luxury and performance, seamlessly blending advanced technology with exquisite craftsmanship. These models not only meet the evolving standards of luxury but also set new benchmarks for personalisation and innovation in the ultra-luxury SUV segment.
