As part of the Zero Waste project, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources organised a large-scale Saturday campaign on 29 June at the Bilgah coast of the Caspian Sea.
During the cleaning campaign, 1,200 kilograms of plastic and other waste were removed from the shoreline.
The purpose of these cleaning events is to ensure and promote the ongoing cleanliness of natural areas, prevent household waste dumping, and engage the public in environmental protection efforts.
The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, along with the Publishing House "NARGIS," encourages active participation in such environmental protection initiatives, demonstrating care and sensitivity towards nature.
Importantly, these actions are planned to occur every weekend throughout the season.
