Achieving simplicity in design, art, sculpture, architecture, problem - solving, or life is never a simple task. Simplicity is the result of knowledge and experience, not their absence. Any simple form of anything without a foundation of a complicated base is mainly a failure. It can be built quickly or seem easy to do, but it will not have any long-term security and depth.

While simplicity can be desirable and trendy, without a deeper understanding, even the best versions of simple things are ineffective and lack the resilience and insight that only come with experience and understanding.

Behind every great innovation, there is a tradition. Behind modern architecture, there are classic forms. Behind any great, yet simple idea, there is a solid foundation known as deep research. The pursuit of simplicity can be a powerful tool for self-discovery. As you simplify, you start to gain an understanding of your own values, needs, desires, and talents, but for that, you need to explore as much as possible.
