Nargis For Eco: Zero Waste

"Zero waste entails the responsible production, consumption, reuse, and recovery of resources without incinerating or disposing of products, packaging, and materials that jeopardise the environment or human health, and without depositing them onto land, water, or into the air." Essentially, it promotes a transition from a 'take, use, and dispose' mindset to a more circular approach in resource utilization. Put plainly, the objective of zero waste is to guide economies towards the target of diverting no waste to landfills, incinerators, or oceans.

For more than five years, NARGIS Publishing House has been advocating for a responsible approach to the environment and implementing successful ecological initiatives. During this time, we have hosted four major eco-exhibitions: "Make the Earth Smile" (2019), "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Respect" (2021), "Planet Calling" (2022), and "Go Green" (2023). Additionally, within the framework of these projects, training sessions have been organised for students in schools, and cleanliness activities have been undertaken to make our city cleaner and more beautiful. Our goal is to focus public attention on environmental issues, increase awareness among children, and foster a sense of environmental responsibility in society.

This year, NARGIS Publishing House initiates the next phase of our ecological efforts with "Zero Waste," aiming to safeguard the environment and diminish waste through efficient consumption and reuse practices.
