On August 25, a rally and exhibition of classic cars was held in the capital under the organization of the Azerbaijan Automobile Federation (AAF), Baku City Ring Operating Company and Dreamland Golf Club, with the main sponsorship of Nazar Holding.
The rally, which has already become a tradition, began with the demonstration of registered classic cars, as well as some vehicles from the permanent exhibition at the Heydar Aliyev Center, in Seaside National Park.

Leyla Aliyeva - vice – president of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Anar Alakbarov - president of the Azerbaijan Automobile Federation, Eldar Azizov - the head of the Baku City Executive Authority and other famous residents of city were attending this event.
Rally was held by the participation of cars manufactured before 1984. The oldest vehicle among them was "Mercedes Benz Gazelle" which was produced in 1929. In addition, unique retro cars from different years caused nostalgic sense by the audience.
Starting from the Seaside National Park, classic cars marched through the central streets of the city.
The streets of the capital were decorated with a caravan of classic cars manufactured in different years and countries. Each of these cars has attracted attention not only with its appearance, which differs from modern vehicles and caused nostalgic sense, but also with its interesting history. Retro vehicles adorning the streets of Baku have revived in real life the scenes that city residents, guests of our capital and classic car lovers usually see in old movies.
Classic vehicles passed through Seaside Boulevard - Neftchilar Prospekt - White City - Heydar Aliyev Center - Heydar Aliyev Avenue - Airport Road - Zigh Highway and reached the finish point at "Dreamland Golf Club".
At the end of the route, an exhibition of classic cars was held at "Dreamland Golf Club". Everyone took a nice photo in front of those cars and had the opportunity to get to know the history and features of retro vehicles more closely. Winners in the categories "Oldest Car", "Most Unique Car" and "Most Colorful Clothing" were chosen and awarded.
Along with the nominations, concerts of well – known singers and different entertainments was organized for the guests.
Popular singers Aisel, Dilara Kazimova, Khayyam Nisanov, Elnur and Nigar, Murad Arif, Nura Suri, Rilaya Huseynzade, Zamiq Huseynov performed at the concert.
Different events arousing the interest of car enthusiasts, also event aimed for the development of the autosports are holding in our country. In this field, the activity of the Azerbaijan Automobile Federation can be specially mentioned.
