I’m Tata Shapiro (@shapiro.tata), personal stylist, fashion consultant, TV host, and part of the Bvlgari family. For the past 18 years, I’ve been working in the fashion industry, combining creative direction, styling, and education. I started on the TV channel Pyatnitsa, where I styled guests on screen, helping them express themselves through fashion while staying true to current trends. I’ve worked on editorial shoots for Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, HELLO!, and ELLE, focusing on styling that tells a story. I graduated from Istituto Marangoni and gained hands-on experience behind the scenes at runway shows in Italy, France, and New York. Attending Fashion Weeks in Milan, Paris, and New York has become an essential part of my professional rhythm, a space where creativity, observation, and connection come together. I also developed a course, “Fashionable Doesn’t Mean Wearable,” designed to train stylists in a grounded, thoughtful approach to the craft. It’s not about chasing trends, it’s about understanding shape, colour, proportion, and building a wardrobe that reflects real life and real people, using the skill to dress them not just well, but right. My own style is fluid. I don’t follow rules; I follow logic, proportion, and individuality. For me, style isn’t about being fashionable. It’s about being yourself in the most refined way possible.
