On the occasion of the Paris Fashion week, Bvlgari celebrates the Calla Collection for Leather Goods and Accessories by Mary Katrantzou in the stunning location of Palais Galliera, Musée de la Mode de Paris.
“One of the first things I wanted to create for Bvlgari was a pattern, an identity, the ‘Calla’. I was inspired by the intricate mosaics of the Terme di Caracalla, a fragment of Ancient Rome that formed the inspiration for the now iconic Bvlgari “Divas’ Dream” collection. That was the foundation for my first collection, a statement of intent. The motif, a sensuously curving fan, has a compelling femininity and universality, connecting with other cultures, other meanings. The ‘Calla’ has infinite interpretations - but “all roads lead to”...BVLGARI.”

During the evening, Bvlgari welcomed members of the international press and celebrities starting with a celebration of the Calla Collection framed under the Palais Galliera Colonnades followed by a dinner created by the two Michelin stars chef Philippe Léveillé. A live performance of the French singer and songwriter Yseult and dancers under the colonnades entertained guests creating shapes that reminds the Calla motif and giving a unique allure to the evening.
